Meet adoptable dogs while learning more about pet adoption and fostering! Throughout the event\, @DogsPlayingforLife will host playgroups\, giving visitors the chance to see our dogs in action and experience their personalities outside of the kennel environment. \nAdoption fees for dogs and cats will be waived on Saturday\, December 6 at our Chesterfield Square Center only. Reduced adoption fees will be offered at our other shelter locations on Saturday\, December 6 and all shelter locations on Sunday\, December 7

DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, Oct. 29\, Los Angeles Animal Services will host the first ever Playgroup Rock Stars Adoption Event at the Chesterfield Square / South L.A. Animal Shelter. This marks the largest shelter adoption event in Los Angeles during “National Adopt-a-Shelter Dog Month.” The event will focus on dogs who have participated in ongoing socialization and playgroup activities at the South L.A. shelter\, made possible by Wallis Annenberg PetSpace and the California Community Foundation. The Los Angeles Chargers and Lazy Dog Restaurants will be covering adoption fees for the first 30 dog adoptions. There will be reduced fees for all additional adoptions\, as well as adoption gift bags with collars\, leashes\, bowls and other giveaways. \nThis Saturday\, Oct. 29 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. \nChesterfield Square / South L.A.
