SUMMARY:Western Our Way Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The Western Our Way Project will transform\nalmost 11.76 miles of streets in the heart of South\nLos Angeles\, including Western Avenue\, Denker\nAvenue\, and Gramercy Avenue. The project proposes a wide range of pedestrian\, bicycle\, and transit improvements including\, but are not limited to:\n• 82 new continental crosswalks\n• Over 300 accessible curb ramps\n• Curb extensions at 91 locations\n• Pedestrian hybrid beacons at 12 locations\n• 27 new bus shelters\n• Over 250 new street trees\n• Over 500 new pedestrian-scale street lights\n• Traffic calming facilities such as speed humps\, neighborhood traffic circles\, and diverters\n• Bicycle boxes and bicycle signal detection
