The Empowerment Congress Southwest Area Neighborhood Development Council is excited to sponsor a community backpack giveaway.

It is free for community and veteran families.

On Saturday, August 8 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mark Ridley Thomas Constituent Service Center, 8475 Ventura Ave.

Please note first come first served and supplies are limited.

Children must be present to receive supplies.

What’s included? Free backpacks, school supplies for pre K to grade 12, community resources, a welcoming family friendly environment, free meal provided.
