Affordable housing is coming to our communities. The LA County Board of Supervisors recently granted $72.4M to construct new affordable housing at the Vermont-Manchester project in South Los Angeles.
The project will consist of two separate apartment buildings one for families and one for seniors.
There will be 118 one, two, and three-bedroom apartments for families earning between 30 and 80 percent of the LA area median income.
The “Senior Project,” will consist of 62 one-bedroom apartments reserved for seniors earning up to 30 percent of the LA area median income.
