On Sunday, October 16, 2022 a community member witnessed approximately 20 young women seemingly involved in prostitution near the intersection of Century and Van Ness. Some were posted up near the donut shop on the northeast corner. The others were located in/near the alley on Cimarron just east of Van Ness. There was a football game at SoFi that day.
The community member’s home is located on Van Ness and it abuts the alley used to enter and exit the garage. On Monday, cigarette butts and condoms were found in the alley.
ECSWANDC has asked that CD8 and the 77th Division Vice unit work together with a sex worker service provider to ensure prostitution in that area doesn’t become an issue.
